Our classes at Colton, near Rugeley, Staffordshire
When?
We meet every Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Colton Village Hall (see finding us for location).
[An optional extra 20 minutes is normally offered each week at no charge for those interested in Yang Style Sword (16 and 32 step forms). This is currently suspended due to coronavirus.]
The Instructors
The sessions are led by Andrew Marshall, an experienced instructor registered with the T'ai Chi Union for Great Britain. He is assisted by Sandy Jarvis, also a trained instructor.
For all levels
Beginners are welcome and teaching is aimed at beginners, intermediates as well as those with more experience. Each session commences with easy exercises before learning and practising the main form. It is a very friendly and enthusiastic group - but be warned that a sense of humour is obligatory! We start on the dot at 10 a.m., so we ask that everyone arrives just before ten. Places are currently limited to maintain social distancing. If you would like to attend, please contact us to book a place.
What does it cost?
There is no membership fee. Sessions are £5. Correct money only, please – no coins.
Daytime class only
Please note that we only run a daytime class. If you need an evening session, we suggest you visit www.taichiunion.com for alternative providers.
